Condolscences to the George Dikrais family
During the reunion last week I was told that George Dikrais 212th 67-68 of Queens New York died. We do not know any more information than that. Matter of fact until we got the death notice we did not have him listed on our rosters. If anyone knows any more information please pass it on to us.

Reunions
Well folks Reunion 2015 is over with and now it is time to start to discuss Reunion 2017. Before we move on let me tell you that our reunion in Washington D.C. was a huge success. Charlie Hahn 212th 66-67 planed a really outstanding event. The Renaissance Hotel and staff were superb. They kept the hospitality room well stocked which was a feat at times. The last day they told Charlie we drink a lot of coffee. They ended up bringing in a mess hall size urn of coffee. I doubt if ever used up all the coffee. Charlie told us numerous times we were having macaroni and cheese for dinner. He wasn't kidding. Of course there was more to be had. The meal was one of the best we have had at our reunions. Charlie had some help in Lee Ruth 981st 68-69 provided the T-Shirts for us. Ernie Ayala 212th 67-68 brought coffee mugs to commemorate the reunion. Doris May and Cookie Bouslaugh brought their handiwork to raise money for the newsletter fund. Doris and Cookie each made a quilt that were auction off Saturday night by Pha Ford. You got to love our spouses how they not only support us but help carry the load of making the reunion a huge success. We also had numerous gifts for silent auction and donations given to ensure the newsletter continues. I would also like to publicly thank my wonderful wife for her untiring hours of putting together the alumni photo albums. If you want to know more about the reunion please go to our Facebook page. There are numerous comments and pictures.
Reunion 2017 was announced by Ray Rogers 981st 71-72. He and his fellow San Antonio handlers have volunteered to host the next reunion in San Antonio, TX. They hope to have it at the same hotel as before during the St. Patrick's Day weekend. We could be getting together in as little as 17 months. Hope to see you there. Ray is now on Facebook. You can catch his comments about the reunion there as well as the newsletter and here too.
