03/07/2014: "K-9 Corps Birthday"

Hello Everyone,

Just a few things to mention. Most importantly March 13, 1942 the U.S. Army started the K-9 Corps. Several states have in the past have chosen March 13 to commemorate our buddies. If you go out on the internet you can find a lot written about those commemorations.

Second topic is the web site. I think I have all personal information updated on the site to include the Last Post page. The Last Post lists all our friends who have died. I would appreciate if everyone would take a few minutes to go to the Vietnam Military Police Sentry Dog Alumni web site and check to see if anything needs to be update. Our information is only as good as what we have been told in the past. If you are a member of the Vietnam Dog Handlers Association (VDHA) you might want to check their website for accuracy as well.

March 13 is next Thursday.
